Somebody was keen to oppose him before the start and in the first set....

Fritz will try and play some points with bit of kick in it, so he has to work harder to hit them. You would think.

Match feels a bit like the Oz Open final he lost to Wawrinka. Injured his back during that game, won the next set but lost the match in the end.

Superhuman, especially at his age.

36.
At that age I was just starting to realise that youthful bounce and resilience was beginning to unstoppably ebb away.
I do wonder how these superhuman athletes cope with not being able to do extraordinary things.

The market looks unsure either way about the result.
Personally, I hope Rafa gets through.

Whoever wins from here if you traded this match and didn't make a pile of cash then tennis trading isn't for you

Who ever wins the seventh game will probably go on to get it.

Gonna be a big ask for him to see off Kyrgios with that injury but he seemed to loosen up in the 5th set.

Crowd will be 99.99% on his side though. The mention of Kyrgios' name in the post match interview was met with boos. Should be interesting on Friday.

First time Halep has been broken first this tournament I think?
