in fairness (from my viewing on bbc), it did ALMOST reach capacity after the 1st set...
Dunno how it works. Is it an all day ticket? If so I could kind of understand everyone heading off for food after Kyrgios. And LTA are honouring tickets disrupted by Covid (and well done to them for that). But I wonder how many tennis fans watching on TV were fuming that seats were empty.
likewise, but guess it really boils down to how the event(s) are marketed. given that we are hitting quarter final stage, you'd imagine that *real fans* would be lining the streets to sit in a half empty stadium... maybe they are and the tickets are otherwise *procured* and therefore, unavailable!
I stand to be corrected but googling suggests queuing for tickets is still allowed. But due to the honouring of covid disrupted tickets you've got a snowball's chance of gettng one. Then again, flipping cognitive bias on it's head might suggest that wafting down to Wimbledon with outdoor overnight kit for a mini-break might yield a proper bonus.
Sadly my family vacated London for sunny Edinburgh some time ago so I don't have a cheap landing pad to explore that option.

Sinner goes from almost 5-1 down to 6-5 up and serving for the set.

Net cord saves Djokovic from going down a double break.

Then Sinner gets a challenge in his favour to win the game.

Two sets down, Djokovic is off to the changing rooms to smash up a few lockers.

I was expecting a straight forward walkover from Djo so never really had much focus on it at the start

I couldn't resist putting some of that profit on a Djokovic comeback.

Sinners recovery from that ankle twist shows the rubberiness of youth.
It may still catch up with him as the adrenaline drops.

My 1000/1 back bet of Goffin looking great now. Backed for a whole £1 haha. Wish it was Tiafoe...
