These settings files for your One-Click screen are for use on horse racing markets, there key features include displaying each runners real-time Velocity Fluctuation, Velocity Error and Cadence Error

To help better visually see the differences in values It also uses Value Based Colour Settings, to change the cell background colour of the Velocity and Cadence cells using a gradient colour scheme of green to red dependant on the values they hold

It also displays a race meter progress bar which also uses real-time GPS data to show the actual progress of the race, and other information shown includes; Jockey names, Trainer named, Form and SP

Finally there are also two custom betting buttons, one will place a back bet at the 5th best price the other a lay bet at the 5th best price, which should ensure you get matched the vast majority of the time on in-play markets.
When either of these are clicked in addition to placing a new bet it will also cancel any existing unmatched bets on the market

When the settings files are used your one-click screen will appear like this

Understanding and Using the Velocity and Cadence Values
In each case the ratings are relative to the field as a whole and the lower the value the better for a runner. TPD recommend that the values should be used in the early and middle stages of the race rather than during the final sprint to the finish.

Velocity Fluctuation - a measure of the consistency of the velocity line. A high number may indicate that the horse is not performing well.

Velocity Error - this was previously known as 'OP Off Par' and is an algorithmic calculation which results in a number highlighting how ‘off par’ the horse has run from the start of the race. A low number here is preferable and zero would be perfect, however that is highly unlikely to ever happen. A low OP is around 50 and high over 100.
VE is not reporting the horses positions, it is reporting how close to race par the animal has been running. The horse behind the leader could be running too slowly to par and therefore have a high number. VE is an absolute error value for speed against par speed. It will be high for horses running too slow and horses running too fast.
VE may often be very volatile towards the end of a race; for example, if a horse slows down due to already being beaten or has an unsurmountable lead. Ends of races rarely run close to par and we strongly advise not to rely on this feature towards the back end of races. These values are to aid decision making in the early part of the race, up to the mid point of the race. It is noted that a horse can win with a high VE, but it will have been a very hard fought victory.

Cadence Error - cadence corresponds to the horse’s rhythm and it is highlighted that stride length and speed are not taken into account in the calculation because a high cadence (high number of strides per second) could also mean a shorten stride length and consequently a low speed.
Regularity is the ideal scenario when looking at cadence. It means that the cadence needs to always remain the same, independently of the changes in strides length or speed.
The CE metric quantifies how far a horse is 'off cadence' and a low number is best.

What is the rule file for this in Guardian? 'Speed Position and Distance values' or something completely different?

Regards

This doesn't require a rules file, as part of V1.59 update the TPD options for selections were all added to the 'Additional Information' area on the one-click and ladder screens, so you can now display TPD info without needing a rules file with SV's

The only time you need to still use a rules file is if you want to perform a calculation to the value before its displayed on your screen, for example the speed arrives from TPD in m/s, but if you want to see it as mph you need to convert it with a calculation so that would be done via SV's with the final SV being pushed to your screen to display the value

There may be an issue with the Par data from Hereford, I've just checked the TPD status page and it says it should be OK

Best thing to do is see if it is showing for the 17:30 at Southwell, if not just drop another post here

I've just tried it and can also confirm it's missing

After checking their telegram page it appears a number of people have reported missing data today so they will probably be aware, but it won't hurt to flag it to directly here on their dedicated page which they monitor closely
