Could i ask please, what you mean by this?
Will the accuracy of the 'Coursetrack' data be comparable with the gmax (ie accuracy) ?
Also, will the 'assignment errors' be available in the 'CourseTrack' data?
Thanks
Peter

For clarity, the previous challenges we faced were related to the complexities of integrating two separate feeds, of very differing technical architectures. Having diverted a significant amount of Developer resource at this we are now confident that the integration will enable consistent distribution to Bet Angel et al. In testing there was no significant difference.
OK thanks for confirming, I will be testing from tomorrowTPD-Zone wrote: ↑Mon Mar 09, 2026 5:31 pmFor clarity, the previous challenges we faced were related to the complexities of integrating two separate feeds, of very differing technical architectures. Regarding GPS "data errors", unfortunately the Coursetrack data, at the present time, has not got such a reporting facility.
I used TPD for the first two Cheltenham races yesterday, but neither race showed the jumps information I was looking for. Could you confirm whether this should already be available, or if it is a known issue?TPD-Zone wrote: ↑Mon Mar 09, 2026 2:06 pmWe are pleased to announce that under a new agreement between Total Performance Data (TPD) and Racecourse Media Group (RMG), raw, live GPS tracking data from all UK races and fixtures will now be processed and distributed in a consistent format.
There are currently two GPS tracking systems operating across UK racecourses:
• Gmax – licensed by TPD and installed at Arena Racing Company tracks, as well as Ascot, Newbury, Chester, Bangor, Plumpton, Ripon, Hexham and Newton Abbot.
• Coursetrack – servicing 37 Jockey Club and Independent racecourses covered under the RMG media rights umbrella.
Both systems generate real-time positional x/y coordinates and speed data for every runner in a race. This data can support a wide range of applications, including live in-running trading.
The go-live date is today, Monday 9th March 2026, which is particularly timely with the Cheltenham Festival commencing tomorrow, Tuesday 10th March.
Please note that at launch, data from RMG tracks will not initially include stride data or stride metrics, although these will be added in due course.
