Opinions on TPD - is it worthwhile?

Dont forget to change the TPD refresh rate.
In BA it is 800 by default.
TPD also offers 400 and even 200ms. Just if anyone of you havent noticed that just yet

The rate at which TPD refreshes users data is dependent on their subscription package, you are correct that this ranges from 200ms to 800ms, but there isn't a setting or anyway for users to change this in Bet Angel without changing your level of subscription to TPD.ilovepizza82 wrote: ↑Mon Dec 13, 2021 2:16 amDont forget to change the TPD refresh rate.

That condition is basically saying, is this market getting data from TPD?ilovepizza82 wrote: ↑Mon Dec 13, 2021 2:48 pmEuler...now im confused.

If it is then you probably don't need to keep calling it. It's a error trapping function to ensure you are seeing live data. It's up to you ultimately, it's just that the speed isn't relevant to the data. That's sort of the thing I'm trying to point out.
If you've had this set at 200ms then even if there has been the slightest of delays due to regular internet traffic since your last update then your rule won't triggerilovepizza82 wrote: ↑Mon Dec 13, 2021 2:48 pmEuler...now im confused.

As an example;
You receive an update from TPD at 15:45:32:370, your rule triggers and changes all the TPD values on your screen etc
If the next update from TPD arrives 220ms later at 15:45:32:590, this is now outside the 200ms you've set for this condition so your rule wouldn't be able to trigger and update the values on your OC screen - instead you'll continue to see the same values on screen as you did at 15:45:32:370, but everyone else will now be looking at the data from 15:45:32:590
Even if you have the fastest TPD update subscription you don't really want to be using anything under 300-400ms here otherwise you'll potentially be missing out on loads of updates and be looking at old data (old as in 0.5 - 1sec old) half of the time.

Ok, got it. Thanks Dallas !
Thank you for that Dallas. Got a 'no evidence of disease' diagnosis this week which has me smiling & feeling pretty miraculous. I still live day to day of course but it was a good day
Fantastic news, it's madness how much we take far granted, this absolutely calls for the Dallas megathumb
