When did Austrailia become europe
Australia has been a contestant in Eurovision since first competing in 2015. Under the present contractual arrangements Australia will compete through to 2023.

The Competition has become increasingly popular down under and quite a few people organise parties etc. Add that to the fact that 30% of Australians are born overseas and there were large waves of migration to Australia from Europe at the end of World War II.

Ukraine continue to shorten, now 1.73

There must be some decent greens for those who got in early

Considering how political Eurovision is, I'm somewhat intrigued by United Kingdom being 2nd favourites

We'd all but given up on winning this again, especially with how Europeans view Brexit

Is this also something to do with Ukraine, that Boris has been one of the most active leaders in helping Zelenskyy?

Ukraine firmed despite drawing a first half slot, which either shows someone has insider knowledge or more likely it’s more casual money flooding in.

1.7 out to 1.9 when they drew a FH slot, now 1.63

A lot of Euro experts think Ukraine are massively overbet.

Euro experts? You need to be a psychologist to judge the sentimental vote. ;)

As I type, they're on the news again. Looks like they'll get twice as much air time as anyone else.

I'm guessing Ukraine went out to 30 when war broke out and people thought they wouldn't be taking part.

The UK entry, sang by Sam Ryder, has 12 million TikTok followers. Will that make a difference?

UK got a real shot this year, especially if they get to close out the show, problem will still be the televote though

If they had a girl group they'd be 1.1 by now.

Running order announced just after midnight, knowing the way they've been betting them though they'll firm regardless
