Scottie inevitable favourite at 7's. Four days of fun and frustration await!

I'm always suprised by the lack of discussion on Golf, as it's one of my favourite sports when the Majors are on.

Just set up some automation to set some Alerts on this and thought hello why not use the Alerts to fire in some offset bets as well... Already 1000+ matched bets in and a tidy profit to boot (so far)..

Looks like I'll be taking a greater interest in Golf markets going forward )

Well Rory at -3 was waaaay too short for day 1 and just crying out for a lay with a back at 15s that I'm pleased to say was matched.

Scottie, though the likely winner also seems too short at under4s so I'm punting that he'll reach 6s before it's over. Pleased to see Rose, Hatton and Fitzpatrick doing well.

If you group them into three holes, here are the high risk areas around the course.

Yes, hole 1 is playing at 4.5 this morning! As many bogies as pars - really tough pin position for day 2.

Just finished looking at the stats and McIlroy, Rahm, Schauffele lost shots on the green yesterday. So if they can correct that in today's session, they will move up the leaderboard.

Early starters had a rougher time yesterday.

If Rory could hit a straight drive he'd be dangerous.

I thought I'd change approach for this one, rather than building a lay book from the outset, Dutch back some picks for R1 and R2, green/red up then Dutch lay a couple of players under 10.0.

I picked up Harman at 230.0 however I think I've overstretched as I'm still not showing any green overall despite him now being at 13.0 😔. Possibly backed too many to begin with, think it's around 20 players flat stakes.

Scheffler being at such a short price at the front put's a lot of pressure on the back of the book. It's limits your opportunties a bit.

This makes sense in that case. I'm on the cusp of green now having also backed English, was just surprised it wasn't more, was hoping to use some of the profit to lay going into R3 and R4.

I laid Scheffler at 4.0 now 2.22 I feel he will hit 2.0 when should i cut my losses?

Did I time my entry too early?

...as always, that's the $64,000 question - who knows?

I was on McIlroy earlier but waited for a couple of birdies to get out of him at profit.

I backed Fitzpatrick at 10.0 when he went -7 and laid at 9.0 just before Scheffler had a birdie putt which he didn't then make...Fitzpatrick is now 6.0 after another birdie!
