Quite a big price on Webb Simpson on the exchanges, currently being offered at 27.00

He's 3rd favourite and the biggest price available with the bookmakers is 19.00, and a couple of them have even trimmed him into 17.00 this morning.

It's unusual to see one of the market leaders trading at a price 40% above the bookies

Wouldn't a short price on him push some of the other prices out?

Yes, but it's unusual to see the 3rd favourite trading at a price so much bigger. You often get 2 or 3 ticks additional value of course, but rarely 10

It is unusual, just wonder if the value was being created elsewhere. Book over rounds on golf can be horrendous.

On another note, with a congested leaderboard likely come Sunday, this is a potentially good market for a Lay The Field strategy.

Last year, same tournament same golf course, five players traded below 2.50 in-play.
