I'm hoping they finish the current fourballs - I've got a tasty profit locked in on two of them!

Great spectacle, but such a shame to see it ruined by the weather

yeh, reminds me of the 1st day of the Ashes Edgbaston Test Match last Summer, if there were more than 15 overs there was no refund I think. They got the players out at 5pm for 16 overs.

That's why I love the Tour de France, free entry and Bring your own booze.

I can't believe a Ryder Cup course is so ill equipped to handle heavy rain. I don't think Celtic Manor's reputation as a top quality golfing complex has been enhanced at all.
Surely drainage is an important part of designing a championship course

There has been a lot of rain, even for Wales. It must be frustrating for them that what was supposed to be a showcase will be memorable for all the wrong reasons.

I've hardly watched or traded it because of the intermittent coverage.

From a trading point of view, tomorrow could be quite good

Not much happens on dreary Mondays in October, so having 12 singles to trade on will present some good opportunities

I'm sure there's plenty of people who would love our jobs!

I'm sat here making money whilst flicking between the Golf on Sky and Tennis on Eurosport

8-)

Indeed, I've often said I would still do this even if I made no money at it. I'm just lucky that it pays as well.

Almost got in the car to head to Celtic Manor this morning when I saw the weather. But my wife reminded me I promised to meet somebody this evening for dinner.

Some great moves all over the place. Great chip in by Poulter, I love his passionate play.

Yeah, I love Poulter too - he's perfect for Ryder Cup

1 hour ago, Europe looked as though they had it in the bag, not now

I'm a big fan of McDowell as well

It's amazing to think he was a rookie 2 years ago!

He's really grown in stature since then & looks like he's loving having the anchor role

There was a great chant from the crowd at the start. They were all signing there's only one 'Luke Donald' etc. When the first Molinari came to the tee they chanted, 'There's only two Molinari's'
