Just for information purposes, here's another example, on a free to access website, that shows how they break each runner, resulting in a rating ranging from 0.2 to 10.0. In theory, that alone could be used to create a foundation for betting purposes. It also shows market moves, overnight and up to the start of the race.
If I'm allowed to, I'll post up the link. They do charge for other stuff, but for now, the horse racing stuff is free.
