Coote will get sacked for his words, but refereeing Liverpool one of the losses was away to Man City. Only Coote can know if he is biased, we can only surmise.Kai wrote: ↑Wed Nov 13, 2024 1:58 pmYou mean besides the 12.6% winrate drop for Liverpool whenever Coote was involved.Michael5482 wrote: ↑Wed Nov 13, 2024 8:06 amThere's no evidence he has been nothing but impartial when on the field, there's no evidence at all to show he has been biased on the field if there was he'd have been charged a long time ago.Kai wrote: ↑Tue Nov 12, 2024 2:01 pm
You don't see a problem allowing biased refs.
Except impartiality is literally in their job description. A ref has one job, to never leave irrefutable proof of their bias.
And this absolute moron talked straight into the camera and happily shared those clips, fully aware of all the risks. This astounding lack of judgement does not belong at the highest level of the game.
People are probably fooled by random variance then. Do they need to go quant mode and look at the confidence interval to explain those numbers then. Even I could already list his top 10 most baffling transgressions that had the biggest impact on the bottom line, not to mention knock down effects. How deep down the rabbit hole should people go. At what point should there be enough ground for lawsuits. Why not start looking at other refs too.
You're basically saying "it's fine, let him keep refereeing" just because you happen to agree with Coote and because Scousers are mostly universally hated anyway (which btw was the summary of the video by the other bellend), albeit nowhere nearly as much as refs.
In any case Coote is a lucky man when Darwin scored the 1st goal against Villa this weekend, after not giving a foul on Salah when he was clean through on goal and taken out. That would be a category 1 hurricane level shitstorm instead of this downplayed one, which is probably for the best.
No evidence that refs are biased and cover for each other at all, after Mike Dean openly on air admitting doing just that? We all knew they're biased one way or another, because they're both human AND incompetent, but we DON'T actually want to know this for sure, or the whole thing falls apart.

As for people not liking Scousers, whoever said that it is not true, there are too many Actors, celebrities, singers and comedians from Liverpool who are or became National Treasures.
Everyone without exception who has an opinion on a subjective matter is biased. Without bias, there can be no subjective opinion.
However, my bias, and therefore my opinion, are more valid than anyone else's. That's because they're mine and I'm more important than anyone else.

Eh? A fit Kane on the bench.
Im beginnng to think Carsley is like some mad experimental scientist.
At least Watkins can be a threat, but from what Ive seen its hs relationship with Digne who can whip a ball into the box with great accuracy and pace.
I don''t see anybody capable of that on the teamsheet tonight. Gordon? Maduake from the right? Beillingham through the congested mddle?
If anyone can explain it to me. Carsley has just said this part of the prep for 2026 World Cup, to give oother players an oppotunity.
Maybe the Nations League is just that, a training excercise.

Not sure why players are bothering with this tournament.
The players are owned and signed by their clubs. It’s not like the old days when they got paid £6.00 per week and £1,000 if they got picked to play for the national team.
If you’re earning £60,000 to £300,000 per week would you really bother turning up for England and potentially get injured ?
Fair enough if Euros or Worldcup. Guess that’s why many dropped out etc.

Ok Magueke didn't swing in a cross, but if you cna glide past the defender into the box like that you don't need to.
very clever positioning by watkins andthe final passwas made to look easy, but wasn't.
We need a second though. Greece will re--double their effort.
