Betfair reaction speed on cricket

I have had a go experimenting with cricket for the first time and have found its gone well. I found though that once I clicked on a price on the ladder it took 8-10 seconds for the order to register. This happened when I tried to react to a 6 and clicked on an offered price. By the time the bet registered the price had gone away from me which was annoying because it went where I expected and I would have made another profitable trade. Anyone know why it takes so long to process on order on cricket. On the horses it registers within a second so its not my connection.

i assume its inplay? if so the delay set by betfair. look in the rules for whatever market your trading.

Ah thanks, I assumed there was something funny going on. I suppose it protects the layers when there is a wicket. Only experimenting with £2.
