Betfair API Down

I have a friend in the comms business and he told me BT were having interconnect problems today. Possible cause?

thanks for the twitter link!! tread where angels fear to go ?? :)

actually, all races are in suspended mode at pres (oh and thoses dreaded woords in the BF tweats: I'm afraid no compensation will be given.)

All horse markets still seem to be suspended as I write this...

of course, perfect timing for my new strat, tho luckily nothing placed in advance of race, so phew!! (that said, my expected BF balance is £125 DOWN, so not sure what happened in the last race - or perhaps the back office stuff is still to kick in)

to be fair to them it hasn't been down for a while that I can remember ..they were due one

Was having a decent penny-pinching day until site went kaput.


...Just the one small loss from over 20 markets played... :D

Not often I'm that consistent with my trading / IP strategies...

i was also having a pretty good one, tho still have to puzzle out the missing £125 :(

that red 62 was a stupid manual intervention on a runner that came in 3rd (I'd lay'd it and then manually greened out when the odds plummeted to 6.5, only to see them pop back up [this is my perenial bug bear -how to deal with sharp churns!!])

Really poor that you could be left with some very high liabilities for a situation like this. I could understand if the problem occurred on your side...

In all honesty, that's true.

They had a period of going down quicker than Katie Price, but they have been fairly stable of late

hopefully anyone with similar issue to mine (the missing £125), will have seen this from the BF twats (I mean, TWEETS :lol: ):

As soon as the site is up and running market will start to settle.
