Laptop advice what specs do you have

Im looking to get a laptop to replace my desktop and are not sure how "powerful " i need to go.

As you like most of you i run bet angel all the time along with spreadsheets and multiple web pages across several screens.

The latop obviously will have to have the ability to use extra screens.

I currently am looking at MSI WT72 2OM-1420UK 17.3-Inch Laptop.

I would strongly recommend getting an SSD, I have found the improvements to be better than upgrading the ram.

I'd have thought pretty much every new laptop would be able to cope with trading software and excel these days. I'd echo LinusP's advice of a SSD drive they really are the best pound for pound upgrade and you do seem to notice the difference. If you're going to upgarde yourself (it's usually cheaper) check how easy it is to replace the drive before bying as some are simple couple of screws, some are a nightmare to remove the drive on more budget laptops. Big screen is pretty much a neccessity unless you need something more portable, I5 upwards , 8GB RAM should be pretty much off the shelf stuff for a reasonable price

Personally I've usually bought ACER's and yet to get a bad one, sadly last laptop I bought was been a Dell and whilst it's well spec'd, I7 etc it's badly made,the keyboard flexes so much typing is a nightmare and they didn't even stick in a dual band wireless card.

a ssd is a must but can be easily installed later.
