I'm trying to set up an automation that places multiple opening positions into inplay, then closes them depending on a set position being exceeded.

I've looked to do this by setting up a 'close trade in profit condition" rule in and set to run multiple times against "All Selections" that exceed the loss position.

However, something about it doesn't work. Even if I set it to 100 times, this still isn't enough to cover all selections, as the trigger seems to run the full 100 times before a race concludes (meaning selections that end up needing to be closed have no triggers left at that point in time).

Can anyone help me set this up or explain why it seemingly keeps triggering continuously once once closure has occurred (even if that closure is complete and doesn't need to keep causing the trigger.

What I'm really looking for is:

- Initiate trigger.
- Selection one meets close trade criteria
- Close trade triggers on selection 1
- race continues
- trigger is paused
- Selection 2 meets close trade criteria
- Close trade triggers on selection 2
- etc.

Thanks in advance.

If you create a rule type 'Close trade on selection with greening' and use the condition 'Close trade profit condition' is greater than £X

That will do the job, Although you could make just the one rule and apply to 'ANY' selection the safest way is to make one for each Betfair row (if you made 10 betfair rows and a race only had 4 runners the remaining 6 would be ignored).
Which ever way you do it set each one to re-arm no quicker than 2-3sec. With seperate rules use at least 3 triggers with a single 'ANY' rule use use a large number of triggers - enough that there can be at least 3-4 for each selection you will have trades on
