I think May's get out of jail card could strangely enough be Nicola Sturgeon, because she is hated so much south of the border, the thought she could be involved in a coalition will frighten voters to vote Tory

If that happens then I will be off to visit my relatives in Canada and lose my return ticket.

The Canadian wilderness is rather large. Tent and a gun and I will be fine.

She would absolutely love a coalition, she's been perched on Labour's bed with her drawers round her ankles for years. If it's any consolation if she does get into bed with Labour, she'll get screwed even harder than the Tories screwed the LibDems....you don't steal a man's Scottish seats and then expect him to be all kissy kissy.

Sturgeon is playing a dangerous game in Scotland, the number of Scots who want independance is quite low now and they're sick of her banging on about it and not fixing actual problems. If you're right about her getting a few more Tories out to vote in England (and i think you are) it might be balanced by an extra seat or two for Labour in Scotland from ex-SNP voters? Labour did so badly up there last time surely there must be some small reversion? But....I think your comment on the south works up there too, and I can see the Tories gaining a seat or two in Scotland as well.

If you do go, can you tell Mr Nuttall so he can put a tick in the 'one out' column. That way we can swap you for a Swedish au pair or a new manager for Palace.

Latest poll says Tory lead is within margin of error.

In 1974, Ted Heath called an unnecessary election. He started with a healthy lead, but that eroded over the campaign and Heath was sent on his way....just sayin'

I wont be telling anyone when I leave. Don't want HMRC stopping me from boarding the plane or departing the other end.

LOL Shaun - It would certainly make immigration more fun if we got to choose from those waiting who we want to fill those vacated places. We could ask Simon Cowell to run a TV show for the potential new residents to win our votes.

I don't think those style debates work fairly tbh - it's always been considered cool to bash the Tories, so a debate where 6 parties can gang up on them is never going to get a balanced outlook

On reflection, I can understand why Theresa May sent one of her soldiers into battle

Tim Farron annoys me beyond any politician I've ever known - I think Stalin and Hitler were more appealing than him!

When he talked about the Manchester doctor being racially abused and blaming UKIP for demonising immigration, he showed himself in his true rat-infested light. UKIP never demonised immigration, they simply broke away from the shackles of political correctness and brought it to the fore as an important subject, which it is. What Farron refuses to understand, is that when a Muslim blows up 22 people at a concert, it is human nature to be angry and for some people to let that anger overspill into abusing any Asian looking person they see. That has nothing to do with UKIP demonising immigration

I would love to put my Dad in a room with Tim Farron.

Unfortunately, given the UK political correctness brigade, I think my Dad would be the one arrested and sent to prison.

Those close(er) polls seem to be based on quite high age youth demographic turnout, unprecedented level, which as the last election the pollsters got it so wrong for overestimating just this thing seems to be a bit iffy. cant help but think its manipulation, but who knows, the polls seem to be the news these days

If that wasn't a joke then we've reached a new level of idiocy.

So you're saying that it's human nature to be a terrorist? Interesting defence of the bomber LeTiss, and worrying. Anger at injustice, irrational excessive response, I can see the similarities I suppose. I'd say it's more like mental illness than human nature, but that depends on your nature I suppose.

Human nature to be angry, animal instinct that directs it at the wrong people. It's as childish and stupid as when one team's fans hate another team's fans because someone on your side got stabbed.
