Hi

This is a topic I am also interested in .. and will support this thread.

In future examples, Can u plse provide more details of trade (back/lay etc), and time horizons - at what stage of the game, was the trade.

I watched/traded the NZ game, and can understand like the entry point - but dont especially like it - sorry, in fact the more I look at it, the more
I dont like it.

But thats fine .. post as many as u can, and people might learn stuff .. and also think about developing automated strats.

I really, really like the entry .. althou, I would have been matched earlier/lower.

I can sort of understand the exit .. and its not bad.

U took the 20 ticks profit, which was great. I held on to my posiiiton, and, as they eventually won, lost .. so, who is to say, had
the better performance.

Thx for all the match detail etc .. it will make analysis easier.

Thanks for graph. Looks more detailed. I read you bought it from bf.
there are clear opportunities present. I'm working to jumping on them.

Today's Adelaide Strikers vs Brisbane Heat.
Brisbane heat Bowling 1st inni. 43-3 out, 8th over.

I laugh when this happens. Coz its happening every time. Closing profitable trade early.
I will work tonight on my bet size. should be proportionate to my confidence.

Have a read on Kelly betting, solves your stake issue assuming you are consistent, it’s very powerful.

The entry was fine.

I can understand why u closed the trade at 1.2x .. they could have become 1.1x v quickly, but, closing anything at 1.2x in the first inngs, is something I would try to avoid.

Rather go for a walk - literally clear your head, and re-look in 20 mins.

BBL. Today's 2nd match. Perth scorchers vs Sydney sixers.

Sixers on 2nd inni start @1.60
Scorchers bat 2nd inni. 4-1 out. 1.3 overs. O'keefe retired.
First lay [email protected]
Second lay [email protected]
trade goes into my favor. All the thoughts came into my mind that "I should hedge now". Heart beat risen.
But I held the position and cut the liability. then layed scorchers around average odds of 1.60
Sorry no graph, its in weird shape.

Hi,

Sorry, but, its a little hard to comment without the graph.

The NZ WIndies match odds mkt was always influenced by the CMM, so, Its a little hard - but, I dont know what triggered the trade at 1.40 .. the curve was steadily down, and had no support.

I think if u were to put this graph into a drawer, and pull it out, in 2 mths time, I dont think u would make the same entry.

But, thats my opinion etc.

Maybe others see differently.

yeah I should have taken graph snip before market go crazy.

Few things made me to enter at this specific point (around odds of 1.40 to 1.50) in T20's.

*Bpl series.1st inni low point was around 1.40 to 1.50, most of the time.
*I'm very less accurate at spoting right entry points, so I started noted down 1st inni highs and lows in bpl, and
found 1.40x as a right entry point.
* I missed many profitable trades by not entering at these odds.

Now its kinda image in my mind, not to miss these odds.
I don't know how much wrong and right I'm. but I'm continuously trying to learn and being flexible.

Today's BBL. Melbourne stars vs Brisbane heat.

1st inni, B.heat bowling. Stoinis out. 80-4 out. 12.4 overs.

Lay b.heat @1.49

Quiney out. 82-5 out. 13.2 overs.

Back B.heat @1.44.
b.heat_1st inni_bowl_2jan18.jpg
b.heat batted well. odds 1.10.
Here, I always think, how much to put on(lay). Big or small. Team with 1.10 price have more chances to win.
