Peter Webb - How do you come up with your ratings ?
For Champions League games do you look at past games between teams from the same nation ?
Do you look at average goals scored / conceded in teams domestic leagues and weight them according to the team they're playing ?
Or do you do other things ?
Would be grateful for some information as to what you do ? I find league games are much easier to work out some kind of goal average than Champions league games, and as for Europa Cup games ! Well that's another story altogether !!

There is some good research on cross europe teams and national teams. But on lower leagues and cups less so.
