The losing 4 over next 2 days get around 16m each, around 23m each average for third/fourth.

63 games instead of 64? Do the maths. Not going to make a massive differnce to the overall prize fund for the whole world cup and losing semis would go home with a tidy sum, and their players wouldnt have to play in a meaningless game

It's legal still so long as the ball moves forward and a 2nd player touches it before the taker does again. Only allowed in open play not shootouts, but if Kane does that in the final people would literally expolde.
