Hi,

I have a dedicated PC for trading only and as such never felt the need for anti-virus software. However having read some of the recent threads about security threats I'm re-considering not using an anti-virus.

Do any of you guys use anti-virus and if so is there any lag or reduction in response times when using Bet Angel?

Thanks in advance

I use Kaspersky anti-virus and do not notice an affect on the response figures at all.

My advice would be to definitely get an anti-virus.

But avoid the 'Internet Security' suites that include firewall, spam filter and so on. These tend to check every packet of data going in and out of your computer and could slow things down.

The windows firewall should be enough. Just make sure this is active.

I use kaspersky internet security. It does slow down ba unless you add it in trusted applications list.
