Goal, no goal?!? Ref or linesman didn't stop play so the ball was in-play, but Nani clearly handled it. I guess the goal has to stand but what a cock up all round!

Well Nani clearly handles it so it shouldn't have even got to the part it did. I don't understand why Gomez puts the ball down and then takes his sweet a$$ time, I guess he thought it was a free kick because of hand ball but that was almost on goal line and he's trying to take it 12yards or so from that, to me yes the Ref and assistant ref messed up but Gomez messed up just as bad if not worse IMO.
Even at school level your told to play to the whistle FFS.

The ref didn't blow his whistle and held his arms out to indicate play on. For some reason Gomes just assumed it was a free kick and put the ball down and Nani put it in the back of the net.

It was only when Gomes ran over to the assistant ref that the assistant ref absolutely bottled it and started waving his flag about.

It's a goal whether they like it or not, oh and I hate Man Utd by the way!

Pretty strange situation and I got burnt badly by it. I was listening to the radio and they said it was a spurs free kick so I backed the current score of 1-0 thinking there would be a short break in play to take advantage of. Next thing I know the balls in the net!!!! It was even more annoying cos I already knew the goal had been scored before my bet reached the market, but since betfair never get the fastest feeds, (in this case the radio), they always suspend the market 2-3seconds late.

To be fair this has worked in my favour overall so I can't really complain too much but it got me thinking why isn't there a feature where you can cancel a bet in a delayed market before it reaches the market? Unless I'm missing something BF don't have this system which I guess must sting everyone from time to time.

Ugly mistake by the keeper I'm afraid. The referee could have blown, but he didn't, Nani could have avoided to score a goal that isn't fairplay but he didn't and in the end I guess the keeper is the one to blame.

The delayed market and getting stung like that has happened to me on a number of occasions (as has countless others) that facility to cancel a bet would be very handy but I think it will never exist as BF will want to continue hovering up the money.

Is there anything that would stop them (BF I mean)from being able to enter the market when it was suspended i.e. a bot that places covering bets to take favourable positions (if you get my meaning I may be wide of the mark)afterall they created the program.

The worst one I have had was a position couple ticks away from the current price and I swear that the money was matched after the market had just suspended, call it time delay or latency or whatever. I don't mind losing due to poor judgement but losing when you feel cheated that's somthing else.

Clearly Goal Keepers mistake,
dont't know why the ref was being critised by harry as for once he's got it right.
