I have done a bot for correct score after 10 mins it looks at the price range and if between 4 to 10 to 1 it places a bet after checking a few bet placements and watching the market
something is going on with betfair. there is a goal scored say 1-0 so obviously 0-0 0-1 0-2 0-3 should now be suspended but thats not the case after 10 mins suddenly bets are there for 4-1 and even 10-1 on 0-0 so my bot sees 10-1 and places the bet even though the lay side of the bet is blank how can this happen surely betfair should suspend that correct score when it can not be achieved any ideas on this surely this shouldnt be happening

Betfair don't suspend individual selections even if the score is no longer possible same as they don't suspend a selection if a runner falls during a horse race, people will therefore still offer up lay money on these in the hope someone miss clicks with a back bet.

In a liquid fixture, the lay money will usually be stacked at 1000.0 but in illiquid fixtures, you can see waiting lay money at odds much much lower

Test for a lay price - no one will be offering to back a score that's not possible (if they snatch it up with your own lay bet ;) )

If you add the following condition

'Fixed odds condition'
Selections lay price
is less than 'X'

That will do it, you could also add a 'relative odds condition' as a back up to test there is no large gap between the back and lay price but you should be fine with just the fixed odds condition above

It depends on the approx odds the score your trading is likely to be, in most cases using something like 30-50 will do
