I have excel 2007 on 2 seperate pcs. On one when I download my Betfair P&L I can convert the profit/Loss text in column D to a number by using the Value function.
However on the other PC when I open my P&L and try to convert Column D it returns #VALUE! There is also no green triangle indicator in the top left of the cell. I can't find anyway to convert these vales to numbers.
In addition on the second pc I have to use a semi colon in my unctions for example =IF(J9>0;1;0)
Any ideas?

The little green triangle indicates a number stored as text.
I've only got Excel 2003, but the easiest way to deal with these would be to select the whole column, then
at the top, "data", "Text to columns", then just press, next,next
This will convert them to numbers.
