"I just lost £xxx on the heavy favourite. Better unload the clip on the very next favourite..."

Can't believe people think like that.

I'm astonished. Even I'm not that daft.

There was a backing "system" being hawked by affiliates and review sites that advocated a stop at a winner approach, to win 1pt a day. (2008-2013)

The Favourites Phenomenon System by Matt Watson.

The system is offered at a ‘discounted’ £97 (from £247), with the option of paying an additional £35 a month to license a bot programmed specifically for use with this system, thereby taking the stress out of the equation.

If my memory serves me correctly, it backed favourites over 1.85 over a series of 5, 7, or 9 races. SAW. There were some other small rules that had to be followed, but the essence was....Loss Recovery on Backing Favourites.

I believe there are similar strategies out there that others use, ie: Mad Bomber. So paying attention to results sequences are just as important to anticipating trading decisions.

Conversely, there are Favourite Laying systems (Loss recovery)..good luck with that. March 27th 2019 (Kempton) Note the 8.00 winner was favourite right up until 1 minute before the off. The actual favourite (2nd) traded 1.16 In-Play.

Anyone else seeing the Cheptow 330 suspended and closed but still money getting matched?

Also notice the difference in the volumes from the Watch list to the Grid/ladder.

Just got a decent result from this 300 yard contest. I didn't even know they did races that short haha.

Only £25k matched on this to my surprise — looked like a lovely day at the races at Keeneland.

Well done eightbo. I've been lured away from US racing by sexy women on tennis courts, and poor liquidity resulting in understaking and the feeling that I could have done much better. I might just make a few more trips to the USA.

There are a few one-furlong races at Sunland and Turf Paradise, you can even bet in-running if you want to!

You can pretty much gauge peoples' age by their enthusiasm for wishing the weeks away ;)
My reaction was ffs summer is here again!

Co-favourites, all at 6.2 for the next at Windsor.
