Does anyone know why place markets usually take longer to settle than win markets?
It's no bother, just wondered.
They wait for the weigh in for the official result. With the win they try and settle asap so punters can churn it back into the market as the result is easier for the settlement staff to get right.

Do you have any idea why Aussie markets are settled lightning quick compared to UK markets?
I'm sure it was under 60 seconds a year ago, may take longer now but UK win markets often take several minutes.

I had this problem before and if a market was closed by betfair and they make a new market then the market ID number is different and BA didnt update it. I tried logging in and out and refreshing the market treee but it still didnt help, so I just missed out that market.

The marketId changed for some reason, look like a bug in BA means the new one isn't pulled in.

Switch to polling, if the market ID has changed then it may not have updated when using streaming
