It's hard to feel sorry for Liverpool fans when my idea of glory is that day we're mathematically certain not to be relegated. Liverpudlians usually find something to moan about though.
Until now no-one has mentioned relegated clubs.
But I feel sorry for Cardiff, Fulham and Huddersfield.
Shankley managed Huddersfield.
But connections are irrelevent. Any football fan can empathise with the pain of relegation and the joy of promotion.
You forgot Notts Co.
Oldest football club in the world and has just been relegated to non-league for the first time in there history

Very good point. I don't know what that says about football (or Nottngham). Nottingham should easily be able to sustain two big clubs,

Maddison has had a hell of a first half, so composed under pressure

In a strange way that goal has at least made this last 20mins more watchable

That was a great goal from Kompany.
Such tiny margins and in it goes. Quite wonderful.
Football wins (and City.......ah well!!).

I'm just enjoying Gary Neville going berserk about the state of Man Utd.
And I agree with him 100%.

Yes and when Roy Keane let rip last week too!

Great goal from Kompany, but not sure about the Martin Tyler and Gary Neville screaming when it went in!

Liverpool fans might enjoy this if not seen already, when Origi scored the other night, John Barnes in studio, Andy Gray looks like he's died
