Back in 2009 the Bet Angel forum was launched for traders and users of Bet Angel software to chat and discuss all things trading or anything else that’s on their mind.
This innocuous post launched the forum: -

Over the last several years it has grown significantly becoming by far the busiest Betfair / Betdaq trading community around.
Only last month there was the highest ever number of users online at the same time which further cements the direction and speed which the community is growing.
Now with over 11,000 topics and nearly 15,000 member's, we just passed another huge milestone reached when the total number of posts reached 100,000!
It is because of the contributions from those 15,000+ members, particularly the ones who have been around for years and continue to post, that the community has been able to grow and become what it is today. It shouldn’t be that long before the next milestone in the forums history are reached.
Check out some of the most popular threads/topics from over the years

We are really looking forward to the next 100,000 posts!
100,000 thanks from the Bet Angel team!
I think that it is right, meet and proper that JollyGreen was the first to respond to the initial post from BA. If all forums had the likes of JollyGreen there would be greater harmony in the world. He has been generous in his advioce and has never been antagonistic or aggressive.
Congratulations to the BA Forum on 100,000.
cheers

Much appreciated, as always. I know I have not been around that much of late but I hope to make a comeback!!Galilee66 wrote:I think that it is right, meet and proper that JollyGreen was the first to respond to the initial post from BA. I'm glad at least someone does Peter (though I must admit I was pleasantly surprised to find that sentiment expressed by you of all people, despite the qualifier!).
All joking aside, you're not the first person to have been wound up by my inquisitive mind, and you won't be the last. People who poke received wisdom with a stick to see how firm its foundations are will never be universally popular, but they can play an important role in bringing about progress.
I've just discovered that I'm the forum's second highest poster of all time, behind only Euler!
BTW, I don't often visit the forum these days. I'm not quite sure what compelled me to visit today (maybe my ears were burning!). My philosophy as regards trading has changed, and I guess I've changed (at least in some respects, and hopefully for the better). Also, maybe I no longer have whatever need it was that the forum was feeding (although tbh, it may equally be that I've replaced this forum with another drug - Facebook! ).

he asked some bloody good questions and made the forum a more interesting place!
Another milestone passed today as the 'Today's Racing' thread becomes the first thread to reach 1 million views
