Generally speaking there always seems to be an overreaction on a wicket.

Starting to get the hang of this now, starting to understand what the key metrics are and where I need to be roughly positioned.

Because I don't have an opinion before a bowl is being bowled I'm letting the market take shape before getting involved.

I'm finding it very interesting to see you start on a journey with a sport it seems like you have relatively limited trading knowledge on, and seeing how you are approaching the task of learning more about it and getting involved in the market

Do keep posting on your discoveries and progress during the world cup and good luck!

I think anyone with a disciplined approach, with find strategies that can be tailored for all banks.

There will be risk/variance etc but I like Euler's chances.

I seem to have observed that too. A principle that could be adapted into a straight betting strategy using small stakes and backing the batting team when they lose a wicket. However could it really be that simple?

It's never that simple but the devil is in the details

A common ODI or T20 strategy is to back the bowling team (or lay batting team) then green up on a wicket for same reasons over reaction, even better 2 or 3 quick wickets like this morning.

There are other factors ie heavy favourites and rain, but if there are no wickets drift is fairly slow usually.

I'm surprised by how much a boundary affects the price. It's like a mini wicket.

Superb entertainment! an excellent match to trade too. As was Tuesday actually I just had a nightmare.

Still sore over Tuesday but this helps and it wasn't easy . Think I may back in profit on the tournament now or close.

That will likely be all I will be getting out of the dreaded CMM as I'm not prepared to stay up all night.
