Early markets sort of hint at further activity and we have Stradivarius going off heavy odds on in the feature.

Can a Racing expert explain to me how come there is a horse called Exchequer running in both the 17:15 and the 18:45 at Musselburgh?
Different trainers and form too according to the Racing Post!

Probably from different countries as you can't have the same name as another horse in the same country.

I think you have nailed it. IRE 8yo and FR 3yo.

What could possibly go wrong? My database processes for a start!

St Ledger day today and that means the final major flat meeting of the season as well as the final flat evening meeting of the season at Musselburgh.

Part of me as always will be so glad to get some time back and draw some breath now another busy summer is behind us

When I used to bet on horse racing I always kept a separate field for the country the horse was bred, but my database still went wrong when a horse from overseas had more than 18 characters in its name!
