Any tips for picking the highest or lowest shared stored value

I have a shared stored value for each selection and want to trigger a bet on the selection which is highest or lowest of these.
Any tips on how I might do this without comparing them all in pairs?

This might help. I asked a similar question. Think it was Sa7med that put me straight.

Take a number you know to be far higher(or lower i.e -1) than possible in your values and then run a higher/lower compare
