Leicester 1.95 Arsenal 4.1.
The times they are a changing!
Today's Football
Wouldn't that give him the same problem as Man U? The fans demand attractive football. Plus the current Arsenal squad is going to take significant management to get anything out of them.
Bayern fits Mourinho's MO. Top club in its league. Has he still got that 'special' charisma that worked at Porto, Chelsea, Inter, Real?
I think only Bayern/PSG/Juventus/Real fit his MO. The guy has been learning German for months to increase his chances of landing the Bayern job
He's probably desperate enough to go to Arsenal, would like to see that personally, if only for the drama.

Well, languages are one of his skills.

For the longest while they were soooo boring under Graham, as to make Mourinho want to quit football forever if he had to endure it. And they were damn proud of it. The origin of "one nil to the Woolwich (Arsenal)" is contentious, but it was sung more proudly than ever during that time, when a 1-0 lead was pretty near enough 3 points in the bag.
* Apologies in advance, if I'm mistaken

Famalicao vs Moreirense. Crazy game. Craziness enhanced by Moreirense away kit colours.
Had a quick look around 60 min and felt by the way Famalicao were playing more goals were inevitable. Shame didn't enter the overs market though. Put a small lay on Famalicao when the score was 3-1...

No worries, I remember the pre-Wenger era. But i think the current Arsenal fan expects Henry-esque football. Evidently that is rather (!!) difficult to achieve.Kafkaesque wrote: ↑Sat Nov 09, 2019 8:38 pmOhhhh, must be nice to be such a young man*greenmark wrote: ↑Sat Nov 09, 2019 5:51 pmWouldn't that give him the same problem as Man U? Having said, that wasn't it Graham in charge when Arsenal pipped Liverpool at the post in 1989 with the most devastating counter-attacking team? Indeed it was. Its flpping etched on my memory.
Just been pointed out to me that my previous quote implies "no knowledge of how to love".
It was a flippant remark, made in an attempt to be amusing.
I apologise to Kai.
This post-pub forum posting thing is tricky! : -)
No worries, if callow means immature/inexperienced then it was probably spot on
Been called worse names, think Luke called me a cyberstalker last week. Been awfully quiet on the forum ever since he got spanked with the banstick, feels a bit like when your favorite Netflix show gets cancelled
