Hi
Is it possible to set up a back bet and lock it? I want to back a horse inplay that drop in price from BSP, but only if it drop.
Lets say a horse have a BSP on 12, and I want to back it if it drop to 4. If I put in the order at 4 it takes the highest price, but I dont want to bet on it before it drop to 4.
Is ip possible to set up an automation on that?

Back BSP inplay
Yes it possible and quite easy to do this and similar things with automation.
When using automation to place a bet you can specify as many 'conditions' that must be met as you wish. In your case you would want the 'conditions' to include something like-
Inplay Condition: The market is in-play
Fixed Odds Condition: The selection's Last traded price is less than 4.1

Well it didn't work. Maybe I do something wrong. It backed the horse right away to a price much higher.
Here is what I want:
I want to back horses after they go inplay if the price go down by 50% of the BSP.
If it dont go down I dont want to back it.
I only want to back horses that have a BSP between 8 and 50
So if a horse have a BSP of 8 I want to back it if it goes down to 4 inplay.
The point is that if it goes down it have a chance to win.
Here is what I set up but didnt work:

You haven't included a condition to test for the price drop (LTP is 50% of the SP).
It also just checks the LTP being >8 and <50 rather than the SP, and then bets at 50% of the SP.

on your first screenshot you have indicated this to only operate once.
you need to increase this to however many selections you want this to work for.

put a condition "matched bets on selection = 0.
that will fix that problem.
so what it will do then is look at the matched bet condition, if it is 0 it will place a bet. the second time it looks one selection will have a matched bet greater than 0 so it will ignore that selection and move on to the next.
