To make this very clear:
If the score in a match is for example 3-1, why is it still possible to Back 0-0, 0-1, 0-2, 0-3, 1-0 etc?
Why are there so many Lays waiting for one’s error? Is it fair? Should it be allowed?
I have a great suspicion: Betfair is at it!!
Fair enough… as anyone could do it, why not themselves? They surely have no interest in preventing it… if nothing else they take commission on those bets like on all others.
It takes a hell of a bank to lay odds of 1000….. but this really can be called a SURE BET.
And now I come to THE BIG QUESTION/SUGGESTION:
Surely this aspect has not been overlooked by Bet Angel???
Wouldn’t it make great sense to offer us, their subscribers, the certainty of never incur in such a silly mistake? I believe it would be extremely easy for them to implement such a filter so that a BA user can never place a bet like that.
And what a great selling feature too!!!
So why not do it?
While implementing worksheet systems, it’s happened that I literally threw my money down the loo this way.. very angry about that!!!
Salut!!

WHY BACK A SCORE OF 0-0 WHEN TEAMS ARE 3-1?

The porblem is there are actually times when certain people would WANT to back a score that's not possible. Say you have taken the position of laying 0-0 in a match with £200 at 10's and an early goal goes in, your liability on the market will be around 2K. You have a guarenteed profit of £200 but BF don't settle the market until the match has finished, (or a team scores over 4 goals). You may wish to move onto another market before this happens and to release your 2k so you can use it in another market. To do this you have to then back 0-0 at 1000 with £2. So there are times when betting on something which can't happen can be useful.
I'd be interested to know how much money people make by offering odds of 1000 on a scoreline that cannot be achieved. It takes an enormous bank to offer £100 at 1000, just on the off chance of somebody greening up, or making a mistake. I'm not convinced it's financially worth the effort
