Do the Aussies change start times a lot? And do they announce the changes anywhere like Twitter etc
They can occasionally change if one meeting is cancelled, and a different meeting changes their start times to spread out the racing during the day.

And they had, for Ascot R2, and I lost big sum, gdamit, markets froze for a few minutes without any error messages (that's new), and my bot couldn't do anything to cancel my wentinplay bets, yet some people were able to chew all my bets.
Don't know what to do now, if you can't determine race actual start time cause of those damn api fckups than you just can't place "keepinplay" bets, cause bot can't manage them while it's blind.

ALSO, I will be very grateful to those who'll send me listMarketBook data from 7:49 to 7:54 for "Ascot R2 7:50" race.

And was its .status = SUSPENDED from 7:49 to 7:54?

I guess from 7:49 to 7:54 they started to send same market data without any changes, that explains why there were no connection issues, timeouts and their standard error messages. They also could messed up with marketId. Very sneaky situation! Hit below the belt.

And where can I find an actual race start time up to the second?

R1 Ascot jumped at 17:21:28
R2 Ascot jumped at 17:51:24

Local time obviously but R1 was late by 1:28, R2 1:24.

Why Betfair suspends with significant delay some of the Australian markets? Laziness or they have delayed streaming service

Starting prices are going mad, traders with faster picture&radio probably making a fortune on these markets

Ex: Favorite @ Bendigo R10 went from ~2 to above 10 in seconds before the start....

That was the result of the fav galloping in the score up (was a harness race) approximately 15 seconds before the start. While I've been critical of BF's slow suspends in the past, this one can't be put down to that because it happened well before the start, not after.

Might be geoblocked but this is the replay

Might seem like a licence to print money but it's quite a risky strategy as they will usually call a false start if the Galloper interferes with another runner or even if it's just a messy score up (as was the case here, bit surprised it wasn't called to be honest).

So your $2 favourite gallops out the back, lay at $10 and feel pleased with yourself until the false start is called. The fav immediately comes back in close to the original price and you are left with a very red looking book...

s there anywhere to get the official off times? I might set my bot to record the betfair off time and compare to see how often they miss the jump. Seen qute a few people moaning about them missing the off recently even some odds on fav that returned 10's cos it started badly. Might simply be a case of Betfair's zero hour contract minimum wage suspend guy being slow on the uptake after watching some willhill feed for 12 hours or a suspend guy in Aus filling his boots before turing in play where the fav gets a shocking start :)

Tabtouch.com.au (desktop site, mobile site doesn't have that info I don't think). The 'betting closed' time is the jump time. The delay between the jump and BF suspend is generally between 4-5 seconds as that's what the latency is on the Sky Racing feed they suspend off. Occasionally you'll get a 6 or 7 second delay when someone is asleep at the wheel.

Just a small caveat, ignore the betting closed times when it comes to greyhound racing, it's closed when the green light is switched on, not the actual jump.

I don't know why they don't suspend based on the TAB suspension times, surely would be easy enough to write a script. Markets would still have to be closed manually but it would stop the shenanigans a few seconds after the jump.

That's typical for Bendigo, lost many times cause of that and had to add this venue to the blacklist.
