Not sure I have ever seen that before
Ah I think you have (you are just too tired to remember), there has been a few like that unfortunately (because I've tended to have been caught up in them and its painfull).

That last one was at least contributed to by me and always means a bad stuff up.

Horse Racing / Rand (AUS) 7th Mar : R6 1000m Grp2 07-Mar-20 15:45 07-Mar-20 15:48 -226.72

PDC has tended to point a few of them out .
Does it ever get skewed like that in the layer's favour?

Couple of bizarre plunges in the last couple of races.

Very desperate wasn't he - he waited at 1.9 for about 5 seconds before deciding f*ck it and just backing it all the way to 1.5

Very unusual for Randwick, 4 minutes out.

Edit: whoops, market must have closed just as I saved it.

Seems okay so far, nothing special I would say. Hopefully will pick up a bit yet.
Thanks, yep three G1s (and then off to see Elton for me).
Found the session picked up as it went along as is usually the case when the better racing comes online.

I hope you are still standing after that loss you posted and it didn't go breaking your heart but I suppose that is just the circle of life as a trader. It will probably be busy so don't let the sun go down before you leave.

Have a good night!

Does anyone have any theories about how this happens?

ETA: Or why?

I thought the session was pretty odd overall. This spike in the Group 1 at Randwick was surprising.

Bunbury r6 what a mess - LV went and then they just decided to turn the market in-play, 3 minutes obviously still not set off and market now suspended

edit: blackout at Bunbury so they decided to turn the market in-play to save their own skin
