I was in ASDA last night and they had no eggs, broccoli, milk or potatoes - I managed to get the very last banana that was hiding in the tray below!

It's a 24hr store and they said they were closing at midnight to restock the shelves and re-opening at 6am.

Saw earlier that Asda, Tesco, Sainsbury's and Aldi are now limiting people to 3 of the same grocery item, and 1 or 2 items for toliet rolls, hand sanitizer long life milk etc
Makes you wonder where its going to end
Not much point in limiting customers to 3 items when there's nothing to buy.

At least I've got my cigarettes and beer for the weekend. I suppose I should try going to ASDA at 6 a.m. Perhaps they'll be fully stocked up - or there might be a massive queue to get in. :o

Is it really believed that only NHS staff count when it comes to childcare and closing schools. The workers who grow, process, pack and deliver our food, maintain our power lines and vital services, not to mention the medical supplies and countless other things we depend on - don't they have children too?

Wait until the Government release the list perhaps.

I'm going into ASDA when it opens at 6 a.m. If there's a riot by the toilet rolls I'll just do the rest of my shopping and nick somebody's bog roll in the chaos. :)

I've seen the wilkos near me have started selling bog roll so might be worth going there if no luck

Pakenham should get some decent liquidity later when the UK players rise

I got some bog roll and eggs, and made it home without getting mugged. :D

The bog roll was sold out within 20 minutes. Makes you realise how dependent we are if we can't function without something a simple as soft paper!

Several trips to the supermarket and ended up going in at 6 a.m. just to get bog roll. Then I popped into my corner shop just a stone's throw away and found there was plenty of bog roll right under my nose - cheaper as well!

Giving the context, this is what my brain registered for a split second:

"Several trips to the supermarket and ended up going in at 6 a.m. just to get bog roll. Then I pooped into my corner shop....."

I bought some aloe vera soap because it was all that was left. It flipping stinks, even worse than someone who doesn't wash!
