What's on your shopping list
For the best part of this month I've been wanting to fill my trolley with oil, an article by Yahoo finance says some are predicting $10 a barrel & if it gets there I plan to put as much as possible into the trolley, out of curiosity, and I'm sure people in this forum are savvy enough to have found some value, what's on your shopping lists.
You're talking about crude yes? I wouldn't listen to the "finance guys". I don't know much about investing but It stands to reason that if they all think it's going to be $10 then they would sell down to $10 no?jamesg46 wrote: ↑Sat Mar 28, 2020 7:09 amFor the best part of this month I've been wanting to fill my trolley with oil, an article by Yahoo finance says some are predicting $10 a barrel & if it gets there I plan to put as much as possible into the trolley, out of curiosity, and I'm sure people in this forum are savvy enough to have found some value, what's on your shopping lists.
I'm talking about crude yes. I'm taking everything with a pinch of salt at the moment, what I meant by it though is if it does get to $10 I will be buying with a longer view, if it doesn't then I'll just doing nothing. I'm looking at it in disbelief tbh, I'm in fomo mode & resisting it massively but if it does get to that point, I will be buying... surely Russia & Saudi aren't going to give it away.sa7med wrote: ↑Sat Mar 28, 2020 7:16 amYou're talking about crude yes? I'd be inclined to look at Starbucks (SBUX) when the Dow Jones stabilises. It seems to be one of many that follow its' trend and is a well established "feel good" product. Wouldn't be difficult to make a 20% ROI on that one over time.

I wouldn't take any suggestions as advice so dont worry I'll take your disclaimer on board along with what you're sayingwearthefoxhat wrote: ↑Sat Mar 28, 2020 8:35 amjamesg46 wrote: ↑Sat Mar 28, 2020 7:09 amFor the best part of this month I've been wanting to fill my trolley with oil, an article by Yahoo finance says some are predicting $10 a barrel & if it gets there I plan to put as much as possible into the trolley, out of curiosity, and I'm sure people in this forum are savvy enough to have found some value, what's on your shopping lists.

im FOMO myself trying to hold back as it's my hunch that the markets will continue to struggle for a while, especially as things get worse in the US.jamesg46 wrote: ↑Sat Mar 28, 2020 7:31 amI'm talking about crude yes. What i find interesting is in France (im stuck here for the moment) they don't have any of these kinds of shortages. Doesn't seem like people are hoarding and I never had any trouble finding anything though they are further along with virus progression. Speaks volumes about British paranoia (or readiness?) and French apathy. You'd think it should be the opposite given France has suffered worse disasters in living memory.
I'm not sure though I wouldn't say a lot of them do. Mostly the bigger well-to-do homes. The place im staying in certainly doesnt. Can barely fit a toilet as it is. I think it's much more prevalent in Italy. Sunflower oil and pretty much all other essentials are available though.

Is the end of the day chart trying to tell me something...or is it a glitch in the matrix?
Other info out there doesn't tally though.....
and the monthly price on their charts either....
