Pleased to hear that. I'm also pleased for him that he didn't have to sleep on a floor for 4 hours whilst waiting for a bed. ;)

He certainly started funding the NHS before it was most required. ;)
I think you're missing a point. He has been admitted to an NHS hospital. This reinforces the view that only critical care is undertaken by the NHS. The private sector are nowhere to be seen.
Arent the NHS taking the lead on treating covid-19 patients with the private sector being used for other non covid-19 emergencies, like cancer treament ?

I have private health care and when i rung them to see if i should ring them or NHS they said for covid-19 you ring the NHS 101 number and not us.

Even if the best Q2 figure of -7.5% is accurate then i expect many companies will go bust after May. And if the worst figure of -24% is accurate then you will have people jumping of buildings like they did in 1920's USA. :o

Margaret Thatcher got a bit of stick for going into a private hospital for an op that most people would have to wait months for. But if she had an urgent illness like C19 she would have probably gone to an NHS hospital.

Every day seems to tip the world a little more towards being completely upside down... people talking about maxing credit cards to buy gold, maxing out on student loans etc... I'm not sure I'm awake, I have no idea what the hell is gonna happen next.

At least terrorism is off the agenda now. With any luck, they will all have C19.

The way things are going I wouldn't be suprised if all crimes were waivered.

We constantly hear of murders and stabbings on the news, but the most atrocious crime I've heard on the news lately is some idiot inviting friends round for a drink!

I hope crime has actually been reduced rather than overshadowed by C19 but the real worry during the lockdown is domestic abuse, most of which don't get reported anyway.

But is it? What better than to intentionally infect a few terrorists and send them on round the western world holidays!

Well, let me step in and shut down that silver lining. They do know how to play a long game. If someone has something huge planned and has been waiting, biding their time, until we're already on our knees before bringing us all the way down, then that time is imminent.

This morning I seen a report on the BBC news where two rival drug gangs fighting for contol of a city in South Africa have called a truce, from killing, robbing and murduring each other and are now both working together using there drug distribution networks on the streets to deliver food and supplies to residents, the same residents they've terrorised and fought for control of for many years - go figure!
