TBH the Betfair pictures for Aussie racing are only about 4-5 seconds off (similar) to SIS UK/Irish coverage. That's at least true on their mobile app. This is a good deal better than the US pictures which have about a 20 second delay.

How slow are they to turn the Aus trotting races in play? Had the misfortune of one bet getting closed at BSP, ISP was 3.4 and the BSP 20.44 it came last so assume it had a bad start. Is there a way of knowing which races are trots from the API, or even a simple list of trotting courses would be good. I know they display the turnover race details in the Info but not sure if they do for the trots.

You can find a list of harness meetings at https://www.harness.org.au/racing/tracks/ but bear in mind that many of those places have turf racing as well. I don't use connect to the API directly but the market list on my software have market descriptions that end in 'Pace M|S' or 'Trot M|S'.

I check Tabtouch and Betfair Australia sites for trots races.

Dubbo's trading really well. I'm glad I've saved a few tokens for it. :D
