pakn6 back to 19.38
BTW - there were some people on recently discussing the difficulty in dealing with races being pushed back and how it is difficult to handle with BA (and I agree.)

I've mentioned before that I use another commercial service that feeds into excel alongside BA. That other service updates the start times where possible if you manually hit the 'reload schedule' button. I've just realized that it is surely simple enough to write some code to do that, and then use that clock for excel bets instead of the BA clock (it won't help with Automation though, I dont think. Maybe there's a possible kludge?)

(I understand that there is some taboo re mentioning other products, so I'll leave it at that, but PM if you want details. It's a bit expensive and I was thinking about giving it up because it doesn't provide *me* much value any more)

ETA the product isnt a competitor to BA FWIW

If it's a general use product then I don't think there is an issue with sharing it.

We just block some people due to historic abuse.

With regard to amended start times, that's really a Betfair thing. If they wanted to drive some extra business they could manage that from their end. Betdaq do it!

I tend to get my automation to take it all into account with my strategies. The problem you have with trying to automate the change in times is getting them to match consistently.

It's called Dynamic Odds. I had a specific problem that I was trying to solve a couple of years ago and Betfair Development told me that the only way I could solve it was by using Dynamic Odds and Bet Angel together.

I'm not sure what you mean by this.

There are occasions when the situation is fluid, like when they are waiting for an ambulance or something, and there are times when the whole meeting gets pushed back a race. The Dynamic Odds solution could solve for the latter.

Got an excellent record at Albury, poor results at Albany, and I nearly confused the two.

NSW courses are quite erratic today.

I wasn't expecting Scone to be the better of the two NSW.

I know this is primarily a trading site but a family member has given me a heads up on a horse in the next at Toowoomba (race 4).

#6 Aceplay, should SP at $3 or thereabouts. The camp is very confident.

I wish I had more to give 😂 My usual contacts have been suspiciously quiet lately lol. Got out to $3.25 in the end, not too shabby for what was a very comfortable win.
