That's only an approximation. It can wrongly flag bodybuilders as being obese or slim but very fit people as underweight.

By the way, the formula's your weight in kilos divided by the square of your height in metres. You don't need a special calculator. :)
Thought I'd run DT's stats for a BMI check.

I've made some assumptions, not sure I'd put DT in the body builder camp..could be wrong though.
He's 6' 3" and 17st 4lbs. Does trading football count as being active or do you have to actually play it? ;)

I consider myself inactive at the moment but if brisk walking counts as activity I'd be in the active group. :)

Reckon it's more than that, as there is a certain intensity to trading and the odd frantic pacing around...

These figures are always misleading. Such a person would probably burn around 70 lying down for an hour - it's only the additional calories that are relevant.

The six people who pulled down the Bristol statue have been fined £100 each and have to undertake a history quiz.

It is cobblers and it shouldn't have anything to do with skin colour but i remember small flaot stocks surging back when George was killed, social media came up with this genius plan to show compassion by buying stocks in black owned companies.... all that happened was traders made a shit tonne of money riding 100 to 200% moves and the people buying sympathy shares got screwed for their illusion of compassion.

It seem that the thousands of missed contacts by Public Health England that recently came to light was due (at least in part) to .csv to .xls conversion rather than .xlsx ! Doh!

There are lots of legacy systems around, especially in Government.

My partner is working for a company and her role is to migrate a system developed using Ashton-Tate dBASE IV from 1991.

Remember the guy at the Inland Revenue that posted an entire database of names, addresses and bank account numbers of people receiving child benefit, first class post, and it went missing.

I can't remember exactly what year that was but unlike banks, the Government can't be fined and have no incentive for having proper procedures in place to prevent cockups.

Someone in my neighbourhood just had a delivery of 8x12 packs of Andrex. The delivery guy parked his van 100 yards away and carried it high on his shoulder for everybody to see.
