Today's Football
Don't we all
But yep, he's a washed up hug merchant now without van Dijk and Alisson. Time to prove the doubters wrong, once again

That's potentially the only tiny piece of good that could come out of this. For nearly 2 years now that's the back handed compliment that some pundits and journalists have given, yes Liverpool are a great team but how good would they be if Van Dijk or Alisson gets injured?
Time to find out!

An hour before kick off usually pretty punctual. But its best to follow a journalist or two that have ties to the club, you can sometimes get a bit of early team news.
cheers pat, with the team sheet leaks would you say there is a safe time to close positions to avoid it, or can it sometimes be more than 2h early?
im looking to close any open positions before lineups are announced (e.g. 2h out?) then carry on when they are defo out (e.g. 55m out)
or if you think it's too random i'll probs start with just the final 55mins so I don't have to worry about it, what do you reckon

In most cases you'd be ok trading out 90 minutes before kick off but its definitely worth monitoring, maybe with an alert to a volume increase servant just in case any news breaks beforehand.

No probs.
A lot as you know also depends on the type of game, you generally wont get too many surprises in league matches but if there's a question mark over a player in the days leading up to a game and that team are playing away from home Twitter can be helpful as to whether or not the player travelled, and can lead to some movement in the market usually the day before.
In Champions League matches teams will usually play a pretty strong line up in the first few group games unless they're playing a much weaker team and will rest some star names. Europa League group games you would expect Premier League teams to rest a lot of players so team news can move the market quite a bit.
If its a domestic cup game then you can expect potentially big moves in price when the teams are announced. Even Championship teams rest a lot of their players for those games.

Some annoying work from the suspend lad on the first half of the verona v genoa game - a five min suspension for no discernible reason and three or four minute long suspensions again for no visible reason. Suspended again just before ht and still in that state now. Too much Peroni imo.

Bayern - Atletico tonight in doubt after Gnabry tested positive for Covid.
All Bayern players and staff have undergone tests with results due back around 4pm

How crap are Real Madrid?!
Beaten at home by newly promoted Cadiz at the weekend and now 3-0 down at home to Shakhtar Donetsk, a side missing 9 first team player to Covid and injury!
This current version of Real would struggle to finish in the top 6 of the Premier League but will easily finish in the top 3 of La Liga come the end of the season.
