US Presidential Election 2020
This is why I thought Biden was too short. What an absolute mess this is and can you think of any other country in the world where this would happen?? These markets must be a traders paradise given their liquidity and how the results have gone as well as the news. Especially to someone who did their research on the states and which results were likely to go to whom and in what order. The problem with this is in who the president is....an evangelist type president and millions of clueless disciples who believe anything he says regardless of how stupid it is. Throw in to the mix that he has an ego unsurpassed in human history and a Republican team of kiss arses and people afraid to rock the boat and you have all the ingredients for this just dragging on.
He was never going to accept defeat and even said so beforehand. America is in a total mess and this could turn seriously ugly and it already is doing. This guy will say and do anything to stay in power hence why he concocted this Covid claim which I simply don't believe, it just smelt wrong to me. But this guy could be a convicted murderer and he would still get 30% of the vote because Americans have a history of listening to big mouths and big personalities and if you badge something in a clever way you easily hook them. Look at the armies of evangelists and the stupid followers they get.
This is supposed to be democracy but this is what happens when democracy goes too far. Too many factions pulling against each other and this is where communist authoritarian states have an advantage. China and Russia must be rubbing their hands at this. You know when democracy has gone too far when countless doctors and NHS workers have died in the UK on the front line fighting Covid (and my daughter knows 4 personally) and we allow people with dangerous agendas/intellects like Piers Corbyn and David Icke to stand on a platform in London orchestrating anti-establishment/Covid rallies while body bags are being filled.
We lock up (and rightly so) people like Tommy Robinson for causing civil unrest and inciting racial tension but who locks up the likes if Corbyn/Icke whose behaviour and impact at a time like this is far worse .
