I'm just amazed there are still people clinging on to this and believing its gonna change. For these suits to be successful they would have to find evidence of voter fraud amounting to 1000's of ballots across multiple states, and there is no evidence of any kind that comes anywhere close to that.
Even Fox news anchors are encouraging Trump to accept the results as well as some inside his own campaign. The only people still banging this drum are people who are standing to gain something from appearing to stay loyal to Trump.

What happens if the president refuses to leave the White House?
Paul Quirk, a professor of political science at the University of British Columbia, previously told The Independent it would put law enforcement in an awkward position.
“At some point, the question would become: whose orders do law enforcement obey? Because it would ultimately become a matter of the use of force in one direction or another.”
The US constitution makes no mention of how a president should be removed if they lose an election and refuse to hand over power to their opponent. So, it is hard to say if anyone would have the appetite to send the FBI, or navy seals, or whatever law enforcement agency, storming into the West Wing to arrest a recently defeated Donald Trump.

you guys are suppose to be sophisticates.
Trump is right, the left is using the media, just like they did in the Nixon coup.
IT WILL BE INTERESTING TO HEAR WHAT TRUMP SAYS ABout the Deep state when he writes his biography , Nixon did not talk, thacher went quietly.
this is serious, the right wants to go to civi war to restore the constitution. I do not thik theyare going to but, the left is taking the piss.
sooner or later, the right has to stand up this is too much.

I think people may still be interested because there is still a market to trade, there is currently huge sums of money on either side of the book, maybe it's those Armchair FBI people trying to win back their house though.Trader Pat wrote: ↑Mon Nov 09, 2020 6:45 pmI'm just amazed there are still people clinging on to this and believing its gonna change. The market is still open and there is still states that have not been certified by the Secretary of States. Wisconsin, Michigan, Pennsylvania, Arizona & Georgia. *IF* there has been any fraud in any of these states then these Secretary of States with teams of lawyers breathing down their necks might be thinking twice about not going the extra mile to ensure there is no fraud under their signature. This is leading to talks of hand counts in Michigan & Georgia. If these contested states can't sign off on the vote by December 6th then the Electoral College will not meet on December 14th - if that happens, which is a possibility because Trump and his team are planning on tying these states up in legal cases, then it gets passed to the House, the House then votes which is atm I believe 22 - 28 to Republicans.

Most of us seem to think it's done and dusted but it wasn't long back that we were talking about this going through the courts... well here we are. Love him or hate him, it's irrelevant. What matters is what could happen and how we all could use it as an opportunity if we so wished to. Is it going to play out this way? who knows, but I wanna be ahead in trying to understand the market if it does go this way. Like we all know, we can't play by the rules if we don't know them.

What's far more worrying is:
The sitting president carries Gold Nuclear Launch Codes on his person, printed on a credit-card sized piece of plastic nicknamed "the biscuit". While in the whitehouse he/she can send the codes without the "Nuclear Football" by using a secure fixed hub linked to the strategic defence system.
If he/she is away from the White House, they will be accompanied by a military aide who carries the "Nuclear Football" - a briefcase containing a mobile hub linked to the strategic defence system.
Once a launch has been ordered, a short code is sent to sites where crews will authenticate them before launching.
If the President were to order an attack, no one can stop it – the military will simply confirm the codes and fire.
Officers may resign, but the attack would still go ahead.
Bruce G. Blair, a former Minuteman missile-launch officer and research scholar at Princeton told Bloomberg: "The Commander-in-Chief’s power is clear: He or she has sole authority to use nuclear weapons.

Trump could stand down and transfer power to Pence before 20th January 2021 and in return Pence could give him a lifetime pardon from future prosecutions of any kind.
If that did happen then it would have to goto the supreme court who would decide if such a pardon could be overturned.

i notice you say biography and not AUTO-BIOGRAPHY... apparently, he's literally never read a book in his life (reading your own twitter posts doesn't count as a book for some absurd reason).
anyway, i'm purely a partisan bystander with no influence and am just glad to see that democracy has spoken - LOUD and CLEAR

I'm assuming the FBI have the authority to arrange his security detail, in which case they could ask them to leave?Archery1969 wrote: ↑Mon Nov 09, 2020 8:08 pmWhat happens if the president refuses to leave the White House?

That seems to apply when there is no overall majority. I've little doubt any court action will quickly fail. What happened to his legal actions that he said they're starting on Monday? Seems to have gone quiet about it.jamesg46 wrote: ↑Mon Nov 09, 2020 8:27 pm
