Best opportunity to profit, when nobody is expecting it.

Trump has tweeted to let the transition begin (while of course not conceding).

Will this be enough for market to settle?

You didn't say which way the large moves were going, but given that Biden was 1.05 odd and 1.01 isn't a large move, were you suggesting heavy backing for Trump?

Trump reminds me of some heaty arguments I had with my older brothers when I was ten years old. When it dawned on me that I was wrong, it was usually a slow climb down, whilst insisting I was largely right, or right about one thing or another.

I reckon now that he's cornered he's forced to take advice from whoever's around him, and he's beginning to realise he can't barricade himself in the White House.

Nothing insane about the turnover of a 'next president' market when the president himself is insane. ;)

I'd imagine Betfair would love to see a Billion £ market just as much as some of us would. I don't think they're refusing to accept a result, rather they're milking it for what it's worth.

I didn't see the volumes that went through other exchanges and I'm not aware of their fees but considering a £10 million chunk on Biden was taken the other day, any company operating in their own best interests wouldn't want to miss out on the profits generated, even at this point.

Wasn't the 14 December an important date being discussed at some point.

Might be £2 Billion by then....

Yeah... we can dream of £2 Billion  - I understand why people are saying they should just settle it & it obviously seems well and truly over but if people are still prepared to participate then wait for the certification, whats a few weeks, us being able to trade it doesn't change an outcome of the Election so whats the fuss.
