I never understood the obsession with pass accuracy.

Forward passes, passes in the final third fair enough.. but general pass accuracy stats include passes across the back four.. who cares?
Or possession stats. Leicester won the league with 42%.
Exactly.

Another stat that doesn't tell the whole story

Most teams are set to play 2 games a week until February so don't know where they're going to fit games in if they take a 2 week break. Can't really extend the season with the Euro's.

Gonna get very messy.

There's several options:

1) Extend season as needed, teams with international players will just have to use squad/U23 players. It's like what they used to do back in the 50s/60s. Does this distort competition? Probably yes, but the season gets finished.

2) Play games every 2 days. Rotate squad.

3) Stop season early, using points average per game rule they endorsed at start of season. Give some money back to broadcasters/sponsors. I don't believe clubs want to give any more money back, so this probably won't happen unless the Government forces them.

That was my thoughts, could be a greater number of upsets than normal as they field practically anyone remotely eligible to play for them

West Brom for the win, Arsenal still owe me a few quid and West Brom owe me a few points. Perfect retribution
