Range bars in charting options

Would it be possible to have the option of range bars to show a graphical representation of the price movements. Curretly we have line, candlestick and tick charts.

I would like the option to show the price as a range bar chart.

For example:

The chart will paint a bar when x amount of ticks have passed, completely independent of time. If it set it to 3 ticks, a bar will be painted every time a range 3 ticks has occurred in the market.

What you are left with is a smooth chart of equal sized bars to represent to movement of price independent of time.

I must admit I don't use charts very much because I don't do much manual live betting but for in-running I can see it could be an advantage as the range is usually much wider.
