Got the boy one for xmas and it was sat there doing sod all.

Spent 8 hours on it yesterday learning the algo.

Had an hour with it this morning and cocked everything up again.

You have to be special to do it super fast, or Chinese. 🤷‍♂️

Anyone quick at em?

Never managed one ever in my life. I've got three all sitting on different shelves around the house - two for show and completed (or should I say never been mixed up).
The third I go back to time and again armed with books or saved YT videos but i'm still yet to finish it

The 3x3 are hard as f**k!

God knows how any larger ones are completed.

I recommend not touching the for show!

Only the colorblind among us ;)

Others should stay well away from Satan's Cube.

Believe it or not, many years ago I used to be able to do the cube in less than 3 minutes most times. I think my record was about 1.40 minutes. I just learned the moves from the leaflet they put inside the box and practiced loads!

A bit sad I know, but it was a good party trick. I would have to go back to scratch and learn again now. I think I could probably remember how to do the first cross, then corners for one side but then the algo got complicated, so no chance I would remember the rest after so many years!

It is an awesome party trick. Imagine being in a bar/pub. Great ice breaker.

They were really popular when I was at school and I used to be able to solve in under a minute on most attempts.
Lucky if I remember how to solve it in under ten mins now, but in some cases I can only solve a layer if I don't think about it too much. My subconscious knows the moves, but I don't!

Once spent hours walking round a french campsite on holiday with my cousin saying 'Quelle couleur?' to ask which side to solve first. We must have solved every cube on site by the end of the day!

Completed them many times, if you count removing the stickers or blocks as a legitimate technique

On the final part three times today.

One wrong move cocks it all up!

Patients and perseverance though.

Just like trading. Especially patients
