Can betangel still work if you close down your pc?

No, unless you're using a VPS, Bet Angel runs on your PC. Nothing can run on a PC while it's shut down.

What's close down mode? I assumed he meant switched off, i.e. no power to the processor or network card. Is close down mode a technology where computer components can communicate telepathically. ;)

Now and then people ask this question and I will never be in the camp who ridicules or sneers at the question as once upon a time I was in that camp.

What is worse not knowing what you don't know or knowing what you don't know???

We all experience the annoyance of asking a question and people are more interested in the reason behind the question than answering it. But when it comes to asking if your computer can work when it's switched off, you would think the OP would have tried it when posting to the forum. :)

This is true enough, but if the question is framed as 'Is BA client-side or server-side?' it doesnt sound so silly.
