Aguero contract will not be renewed at the end of the season. No surprise I guess as he is 32 now!

I understand, I've admired and enjoyed Aguero for almost his entire Premier League career. However, as a football purist (and just to deflect any accusations of bias, an LFC fan) I would point at Solskjær's goal against Bayern as being an a par if not beyond Aguero's goal. That was truly a shattering moment of pure .....ermm zen footballing skill.

Oh for sure, 'Beckham, into Sheringham, and Solskjaer has won it!!' Must be etched into so many people's minds. I remember I was working late that night and couldn't get out of it, absolutely gutted, but ran all the home and was back for the 80th minute onwards.

I am surprised. He's probably got another 2 years in him, and after everything he's done at City I thought they'd show him a little more loyalty than that

Aguero is a life-long Liverpool fan as well, like Kevin de Bruyne. It's a damn shame the club couldn't afford someone like Aguero when it mattered, but they did manage to pick out a few world class strikers over the past decade.

Still, one of my favorite players, and 10 consistent years at City is quite the legacy, despite all of his little injuries which probably drive Pep mad.

A little bit of over confidence crept in there you would think.

John Stones perfromance is the definition of catastrophe to redemption in under half an hour. But at 90+1 I'm pleased for him.

Couple of questions I've been asking myself for a while now which are back to the front of my mind after tonight....

1) How are England favourites for the Euro's?
I know they'll be playing their games at home but still, favourites ahead of France?

2) How the hell is Low still Germany coach?!
They've done nothing since winning the World Cup in 2014 and now they've just been beaten by Macedonia! I'll be amazed if the German FA don't grow a pair and dump him sooner rather than later.

Be kind my English friends :D

Phew, John Stones! Forget silky skills and Cruyff turns. If in doubt, fecking launch it.

Well...

1) France is kinda stuck in a group of death with Germany and Portugal, while England has a relatively easy group against Scotland, Czechoslovakia and Yugoslavia.

2) Joachim Low did actually announce after tonight's embarrassing game against Northern Macedonia that he's stepping down after EURO.
